After my $80 sewing machine died due to mass producing masks for everyone and their mothers (surprised it survived that and 7 years of my crappy sewing habits that exceeded his abilities and limits), I decided it was time to invest in something I could be proud of. My heart was in the Singer One sewing machine. It was the perfect combination of beauty and futurism, but in my heart I felt I couldn't ask for more. After reading a large number of scary and negative reviews, I realized that Singer One is definitely not for me. So I researched Brother and to my surprise I found this beautiful SE600 machine! I may have just been looking for a basic sewing machine with a few extra features. found that the SE600 is capable of YAY! In truth, I was a little hesitant to try it when it was delivered because I was secretly intimidated by the fact that I hate dealing with computer bugs. Well, the instructions were very clear and understandable. It explains what to do when you encounter a problem and it will definitely put my mind at ease. When did I get the sewing machine? MY GOD. it sews like a fucking dream guys! It's so sleek and quiet I think I could rent it out to put the kids to bed. And it does all the boring little things for you that I endured in my pre-SE600 life. Yes that's right: he threads the needle for you, you could probably leave the room and wind the bobbin, he raises the needle for you without turning the hand wheel, you sew without a foot control (I think they have one built in, so people can sleep better at night (otherwise has anyone heard of a machine without a foot control?) And it even cuts the damn thread! WHAT TIME TO BE LIVE! I had no idea how much time I was wasting dealing with all those annoying little things! Also, I used to think that all stitches are made the same, but am I wrong about those perfect clean stitches? Here's WHAT'S HAPPENING, let me just tell you. The fabric grip is firm and stabilizes very well. I haven't researched the embroidery aspect but I'm really looking forward to getting into it. My only complaint was that the SE600 was very difficult to buy in a store or online. I'm so happy I found the latest on Revain. Also remember that you must take the time to read the manual to understand the do's and don'ts. Once you get used to it, the experience will only get better.
