That's a waste of money.

We bought these lights on 08/29/2020. They were installed and commissioned by mid-September. We bought two sets of lanterns, one on each side of our patio, separated by an opening leading to the stairs. These fixtures were easy to install. We cut one of the ropes to a smaller size, the place of the cut is clearly marked. They're brighter than we expected, if you want to really light up a room they will. These lights were installed on our deck rail under the rail cover. They weren't directly exposed to the rain. We used them intermittently when we were on deck from late summer to late fall. When we weren't outside we took them off and used the light next to the door to illuminate the back door. In December we turned them on every night and used them as part of our Christmas lights. Until early January, the lights on the deck were only turned on from one side. In mid-January, the remaining 1/2 stopped working. We turned them on every night in January as they helped light up the deck and floor when we went out with the dogs. Still, we didn't use them 24/7. LED lights used to last a few years, even if we occasionally left them on overnight. Read the reviews and don't click the buy button. These lamps are a waste of money. They last long enough to past the return window and you're stuck with a useless tube of expensive bulbs that don't work. To make matters worse, the weather was good enough to go out and look at them and make sure they didn't pass out. They didn't, but I wish they were. There were melt marks on the plastic and black areas, it looks like it's about to catch fire before a short circuit occurs. These lamps are not safe.

Pros
  • SAFE TO USE - Two UL-certified power plugs with built-in fuses for over-charge and short-circuit protection. Operating voltage 110V/120V. Overclock first, then power on. The whole circle is stacked together and used directly, easy to overheat and melt the glue or even burn the light beads.
Cons
  • boring packaging
