I bought this schrader valve tool kit to remove two schrader valves from 1lb green propane tanks. This kit allows you to remove both Schrader valves on these green propane tanks prior to disposal, or loosen the valve to allow the gas to escape, reducing internal pressure when you refill the propane tanks. However, I strongly recommend that you stop being a cheapskate and buy refillable 1lb propane tanks like the ones offered by Flame King here on Revain. Thicker steel cylinders, less risk of breakage than thin shell disposable cylinders. ;)
