I use my phone as GPS on my Honda XR650L and had a USB socket with no switch which was annoying because I had to disconnect it from the battery when not driving to drive do not drain it. I bought this socket because it has a switch and works great. It was very easy to install although I had to add longer cables to get to the battery. The on/off button works great and really turns it off. It supports fast charging so my phone charges even when GPS is on with Waze or Calimoto turned on. It has a built in fuse, which is nice, and the lid snaps securely into place. I am happy with this outlet and would recommend it to any motorcycle owner looking for a cost effective solution to power their USB accessories.
