Media could not be loaded. I was looking for a 3 tier dessert tea stand and stumbled across this set. When I first saw the reviews and photos I was immediately skeptical, thinking this was one of those cheap sets made out of lightweight ceramic materials. When I opened the packaging, I could see that these records have a certain weight. At first glance they look very beautiful and noble, but on closer inspection you can see places where the edges of the gold edge have not been completely painted over. From a distance you can't tell exactly where the badly painted spots were, so this was a deal breaker. I bought this set to use on a serving tray to make my mother breakfast in bed while she is recovering from an illness. I was looking for a set that fits perfectly on the tray and doesn't take up too much space on the tray. What surprised me is that you don't have to use all three plates to use the stand. I actually used the third plate as a normal serving plate. The only thing to worry about when doing this is making sure you don't put sauces in or they will spill out through the holes the sticks go in. To fix this I used a piece of masking tape to cover the bottom hole and placed some green to cover the top hole. This brought the tray together because they were all the same, making it more unified. Overall assembly and disassembly was fairly easy and easy to clean. I definitely recommend this coaster for tea desserts. Good quality at a good price, I'm definitely satisfied!
