It actually uses 2 "AA" batteries, not "AAA" as described. And it came with a tiny screwdriver! Works great on my bleach damaged hair. Most of the time you can slide from top to bottom like clockwork, but if it seems like it's going to get stuck, just slow it down and let it pass. the tips damage the scalp so you cannot clean the scalp with them. also only used about 3x with new batteries and they seem to be slowing things down already. so better chargeable.
