shoe bags for my husband and I have just taken us through 5 African countries where I have traveled for gorillas, chimps, golden monkeys and other safari trips. The entire hike involved my ankle high hiking boots walking through mud, mud, jungle, and forest. And here's the big part regarding shoe bags. Even though the shoes were cleaned after each hike, there were still bits of dirt on the shoes and sometimes they were still wet, but I was able to put my shoes in a bag (which fits comfortably in my boots) and knew my suitcase would remain clutter free . . The shoes had to be packed and unpacked many times and the zippers never worked. When I got home I washed the bags in the washing machine, hung them out to dry and they look brand new and ready for the next adventure!
