I mounted these brackets on the roll bar behind the front seats of my Jeep CJ7. I don't have a back seat in my car so it looks and works perfectly. I have attempted to repair the missing spots in other places (hood mounts, front bumper, rear wheel) but all of these places expose the jack to the weather and ultraviolet light so corrosion resulting in an ugly looking jack is inevitable. I also have a hard top so these mounts keep my jack safe and secure and ready to go when I need it. Although they are too expensive. I mean it's just a couple pieces of aluminum with a couple of holes and a threaded bolt inserted into it.
