Finally a solution for virtual group meetings!

One of the biggest challenges our organization has faced since the end of COVID has been managing hybrid meetings where half the attendees sat together in a room and the other half attended virtually. Our board and all staff meetings were moved to Zoom during the pandemic, but as immunizations helped ensure a safe environment we wanted to return to in-person meetings; However, there was pressure to keep Zoom as an option for those who didn't want to travel or still didn't feel safe personally. Hybrid meetings were a big problem when we first tried them because our microphone was built into the camera we were using. As a result, Zoom attendees couldn't hear much of the conversation in the room: they felt left out and frustrated. Erika microphones were a turning point for us as they offered a simple and effective solution to our audio problem. We will ask the person leading the meeting to wear one of the microphones, and anyone who will be talking a lot to wear one as well. We use other microphones in a portable format. We've used the Erika in three different hybrid encounters and the sound has been excellent each time. There are no feedback issues, they're easy to turn off, and their portability is a big plus. It's becoming increasingly clear to me that the availability of virtual options like Zoom will make hybrid meetings the norm in the months and years to come. Given this reality, I felt that our organization needed to figure out how these meetings work from a technological standpoint. Erika's microphone solved the biggest problem we had in transitioning to a new meeting norm.
