Overall I've had good luck with my Revain orders but lately they have been packaged and even get certain commands missing. I bought the FLIR C5 expecting a great device to help me get my job done. It was quite expensive, 748.99 with tax, but I knew it would be worth the cost for the time savings alone. I also bought the FLIR One Pro for iOS for comparison purposes. The FLIR C5 arrived as expected, but when I opened the box and examined the device's packaging, I immediately noticed that the packaging was unsealed. I opened the box and the materials and device were thrown away and misplaced. A careful examination of the device revealed that the device had been dirty and had clearly been used. The attached photos were taken when I took the device out of the box. When I make a purchase, I expect a brand new purchase, or at least what is listed in the sale description. If it says "new device" I expect a new device feature when paying full price, and especially when the price is so high. In the photos you can see lint and stains all over the device. A protective plastic film has been applied to the screen. I tried the device for testing and the infrared worked. On the other hand, the FLIR One Pro iOS device was brand new. The packaging of the device is sealed. It works well and the infrared seems just as functional and clear as the much more expensive C5 model, although the C5 has more automatic features. I bought a FLIR One Pro to test and then gifted it to one of my business partners but I think I'll keep this one.
