I was at a birthday party and wanted a creative packaging method. So I decided to take plain brown paper and then put wax seals on it. I was just going to get the roll of paper but this set turned out to be just what I needed. I was able to wrap the gifts with the string provided and then use the wax seal and In/Out tag on the top. And to be honest, it looked amazing. The paper was translucent enough to be wrapped but strong enough to be taken to a party without fear of tearing. I would say the paper is thicker than regular wrapping paper. I regret not taking a photo of my gift as honestly it was the best wrapping work I have ever done. Highly recommended for creative gift wrapping!
