Ok but display problems

I just got my C740 last week and have been playing with it for most of the weekend. This is the C740 version with 2GB RAM and 16GB SSD. I was very happy with it - I like the speed, the battery life and Chrome OS in general. However, I noticed two graphics/display issues and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this experience. The biggest problem I've encountered is that the display gets messed up at times. It's like the screen is cut into blocks and put together like a jigsaw puzzle. This can happen anywhere on the system, even on the login screen, so I think it could be driver or hardware related. Most of the time it just flickers, but the image has actually stabilized in a jerky state. This usually seems to fix itself pretty quickly, you might even miss it if you blink, but on one occasion I had to reboot (power cycle) the computer before it got fixed. This issue most likely occurs when I'm on Chrome RDP, but I can't tell if it's related to this app as it occurs system-wide even when the app is closed. refers to a website that uses an HTML5 canvas to display the remote desktop. The problem occurs on the canvas where random white blocks appear around the icons. White blocks can also appear on the canvas, sometimes I don't touch anything. I haven't had this problem on any other browser, including my wife's C720. So I'm wondering if anyone had similar issues on the C740, other Chromebooks, or the Chrome RDP app specifically. I really like this Chromebook but am considering exchanging it due to these issues. My wife's C720 doesn't seem to have these problems.
