I had a 2 x 4" bolt to screw it in so two large screws stuck it in, leveled it (thanks for the mini spirit level included) and this old tv was moose so it holds 60 lbs count 10 lbs just for the mount it lengthens leans left and right down and straight good thing Revain has that! Hard except for tiny ones Screws you'll find in one place. It's ok but will hold. Stretches to easily find aligned holes on a 55" TV. If he would hang himself quickly by aligning the back bar with a wall stand and then helped lift the TV (already attached to his arms and all) he balanced where the hinge pin would be: done!
