I am very happy with these pots. Be careful not to burn yourself. The handles on the pot got very hot. I got burned and learned the hard way. The handles of the pans get hot near the bowl. Food doesn't slip like cheap ceramics, but Ubiqua is just as easy to clean and food won't stick. My husband decided to be helpful while I had an important call and moved the lid. The water boiled away, leaving a hard, thick crust on the bottom. The chicken was ok and boiling a little water in a pan loosened the crust. It started right away. I've researched and never found any US ceramic pans to buy. These were the only ones I found that I would consider. They were advertised as the right choice in terms of safety and quality. Now I use it every day and am completely satisfied.
