I bought this for my 7 month old granddaughter and she loves to be buckled in and pushed around! Your child should have some ability to hold themselves in a seated position. You also have to push them very, very slowly until they can handle the steering wheel. I am grandmother and was able to assemble it myself. I used a rubber mallet instead of a regular hammer because the plastic can crack if hit too hard. You have a chance to stick stickers, so be careful! It's very easy to squeeze as the handle is at just the right height. Overall it's very durable and I thought it was a great purchase!
