This is a great product when you need extra light. I use it in the garage and in the attic. This gives me a lot more light than a single bulb and I don't have to do any electrical work to add another outlet. I like to use bright white LED bulbs which make them really bright in both cases. The only downside is that the corner of the base that the bulb screws into makes it difficult to use in certain places. I had to remove the glass cover to get it working in my garage. It's worth the ugliness of two bulbs sticking out of the ceiling for extra light output.
