I was very surprised how strong and durable this ring light was. His base/arms are made of metal, creating a solid base for him to stand on. The phone holder was a little slippery, probably due to my phone case, but that didn't affect the ring light. The clip that attaches to the surface is a little tricky to use, but stays in place no matter where you move the ring light arms. The light is fairly bright for all three settings, and you turn the brightness down as well. I would definitely recommend this product for your selfie ring light needs.
