I bought this particular model because I noticed it while browsing. I'm glad I did. My boyfriend and I sleep in the garage of the house. It's a bit cold here and more dust/dandruff accumulates. I also have a dog so her hair is flying...everywhere...lol. This air purifier has helped me a lot with my allergies. I used to wake up with a completely blocked nose. Now I wake up and I can BREATHE through my nose. It's getting a lot of those floating particles that concern me the most! I love it and use all the settings. I prefer background noise while sleeping, so a normal or high setting doesn't bother me at all. I would say it is equivalent to the sound of a small fan.
