I first bought this set for a horsehair brush specifically for cleaning leather seats. Each brush is approximately 6 inches long. The handles are made of plastic, well profiled under the hand. The bristles are about 3 cm long. The handles have a hole at the end to hang them up if you like. I am impressed with the horsehair brush. It is densely packed but very soft. I curled it a bit before using it and it lost exactly one bristle. It did a good job cleaning my leather seats. It has penetrated the texture without scratching. No shedding during actual use and a clean rinsing. I like this brush. The second brush has stiffer nylon bristles for cleaning carpets and more. It also looks well made. All I did with it was throw dry carpets in the car to make it easier to vacuum. This one is also fine without shedding. These brushes are well made and do what they are supposed to do. at a reasonable price.
