Review on 59401 Hitch 4 Bike Carrier Security by Jodi Tisdale

This is a very good bike rack for the price. I only give 4 stars for the following reasons. It is very easy to assemble and looks very durable. The only negative note and suggestion is that the manufacturer has to drill the first bracket into the 2" shanks to accommodate full size pins that are the same size as the standard 2" hitch. I bought a hitch lock pin for my Nissan Frontier truck that fits perfectly on the shaft of my boat hitch. It's also tied to my truck key. I really don't like the fact that a person with a wrench can remove my bike rack while I'm driving and my car is in some sort of parking lot. I mean, it only takes a second to remove the bike rack and bike as a whole by loosening a bolt while having breakfast in a gas station restroom or in a dining room. There are 2 holes. There should be one for temporary installation and one for long journey safety installation. It's no time at all!
