I bought a refurbished HP 8300 i5 sff computer with windows 10. I installed it and it starts up in 15 seconds. It completes the reboot - power on, power off, boot - all takes 30 seconds. I think it's pretty fast. Since I don't use my computer very often, usually just to quickly check email or pay bills quickly, the slow loading was a source of frustration. Now I'm in and out as fast as you want. I understand there are many SSDs out there and all will likely work just as well. That being said I approached HP to keep it compatible with my system and everything worked out great. The price was comparable to all other brands I looked at.
