I finally have the PS3 and when I tried to upgrade that I was supposed to do it gave an error every time I tried to upgrade after 50% completion . . I tried everything I was told in the post and every time I got the same error. I've even tried taking the hard drive out and putting it back in and also swapping the hard drives out with my other PS3 which doesn't work and I'm still having the same problem. I wasted my money so if I were you I would buy another console or buy it from someone to show you it works.
