Review on πŸ”§ Dorman 741 010 Odyssey Driver Regulator: Optimizing Performance With Superior Quality by Agustin Bush

Went like clockwork!

I bought this as a replacement when my window wouldn't move up or down more than a few inches and made a horrible click when I tried to lower the window. It sounded like broken glass being ground, but my glass wasn't damaged. When this happened I was confused and worried because it was the middle of summer and I couldn't get the window down (I also had a problem with the air conditioning for a while). I removed the door panel and couldn't see anything wrong, the motor seemed to move to a point but didn't lower the window more than a few inches. Due to the metal brackets built into the door, in the event of an accident, it's really hard to tell what's going on from the holes in the door. I ordered this part hoping that it would solve my problem and that it would actually fit my Odyssey, which it did. No problem so was grateful it came with a tag and if it didn't fit I would have wasted time swapping out the unit only to have to put the old one back in, send it back and wait for another replacement. I'm glad that didn't happen. I've watched a few YouTube videos showing how to mine an existing block, but really, once you get your hands on it, you should be able to figure it out. No new bolts are supplied, just use the ones from the old block and you won't have a problem. I suggest taking out the old block first and then laying the new and old blocks side by side and moving the bolts one by one to make sure they are placed exactly where they should be. Overall the window worked like new and I haven't had any problems since! Affordable, fast shipping and hassle-free installation, what more could you ask for!
