These sets are such a good idea in theory and we bought three, Garden, Ice, Construction. I found the included toy mixes to be quite adequate, and while I could have easily assembled them myself from dollar store materials, having them prepackaged saved me time and energy. But the sand is so terrible. Don't expect anything close to Markensand. This sand is a crumbly mush. Fell apart on everything and everyone during the game. I quickly substituted some "brand name" sand which made these kits much less valuable. But it gave my kids ages 3 and 6 several hours of fun.
