I bought this mirror to take to the gym to shave in the shower. (waiting for an open car wash was getting old). The first day I stuck it to the glass shower door by the suction cups, turned on the shower and it immediately fogged up. RIGHT, THE FIRST TIME I USED THIS. Neither soap deposits nor hard water are to blame. and it stayed cloudy. Now I just splashed some water on it to disperse the fog. The size and other features work well. The suction cups work very well on glass, however on two separate occasions I have removed the mirror and the suction cups remained on the glass. I spent a few minutes getting these little "guys" off the glass and putting them back together on the mirror (before I lost them). In short, this is a great mirror for occasional use when travelling. However, don't expect there to be no fog. And when you remove it from the glass, you have to slide it across the surface to break the seal or release the suction cups.
