After a trip to Lowes and selling a $20 plug that was the wrong model, I finally realized I had to look at our alternator's outlet for myself to see which connector model I needed. . It's absurd that there are so many different plugs, but s'e la vie, dad. After knowing what fork I need, I found the best deal here. This plug has proven to be very durable, well designed, easy to learn and works great for connecting to our portable generator. We had an ice storm about a month ago that shut off the electricity for 4 days and we simply hooked our generator up to the house via our lockdown kit, turned on the heaters, stove, fridge and lights and were able to use our computers and wifi use internet, even watch Netflix while others unfortunately suffered.
