Tried it for the first time today. Cooked a dozen drumsticks over indirect fire for an hour. Then brought them to standby for 10 minutes over direct fire. at 165 degrees. It uses so little charcoal and burns hot for 2 hours. Indirect temp only rose to 350 degrees but it was enough. Leave bottom and top grates fully open during cooking. Highly recommend this product. Seems to last a long time, there were sharp edges on the underside, but nothing can be repaired with a file.
