The shock-absorbing heel protrudes and causes pain, as if offering too much resistance to be stepped on. When bending the shoe, it hurts the foot. They are hot. An extra set of laces is included if you wish to use traditional lacing. The laces themselves are fine. The footsteps are quite loud. The heel hits the ground pretty hard. My adidas doesn't have this problem.
