I wouldn't call it a "high pressure washer". It's not building enough pressure. As a portable shower, it works very well. This thing empties a five liter bucket of water in about 5 minutes. The battery lasts a while. I didn't run it long enough to completely drain the battery. The hose that comes with the kit is over 20 feet long. You can use it to get to a stream, bucket, or other water source to feed your system. Do not choose a water source that is much lower than your elevation. This pump has the task of lifting the water to a height.
