My friend loves these filters and uses them on his Nissan 370Z and our Trailblazer. He suggested I get one for my 2015 Lexus IS 250. I did this and figured the dealer would put it in at my next oil change, which they thought was cute. He pulled out my old one and plugged in the new one - took about 10 seconds. My car has only done 10,000 miles so the OEM filter was still fairly clean but I noticed that the original filter was twice as thick as a K&M brand filter. Obviously, the thinner design helps the car breathe better, which sounded like a publicity stunt or tactic to me; I was just happy that this filter could be cleaned and used for years without replacement. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the little extra boost I felt when driving my F Sport IS, even without the Power Boost feature. on the. To be honest, driving made him feel a lot more upbeat and invigorated. The change in performance was noticeable; The game doesn't change, but noticeably, and my engine got a little louder, but in a good way. Instead it makes a slight rumble and loses the usual Lexus "tick" noise at idle, which I was surprised to hear/hear. And for less than $60, the price of this filter and the improvements it offers is worth its weight in gold, IMO. Now I'm convinced too and highly recommend this filter.
