Okay part of the phone was a joke but why is the phone in the first picture? Size comparison, I think anyway. But I think they should include a cleaning brush with each of these glass/acrylic inlets/returns as they attract a lot of algae underwater. This is why filter manufacturers use black or dark green (it blocks some of the light that promotes algae growth). The part is well built, there are no bubbles on the glass, the air intake cutouts are very well aligned, and it works well enough for my needs. It's a small 20 gallon tank. If you have a larger tank I would recommend using a taller inlet to allow for more flow. I like the ability to control the bottom of the inlet, which makes it very easy to draw the desired amount of water out of the skimmer and balance it with the water entering the filter from the bottom section. I personally prefer most of the water to come from the top and this keeps my aquarium crystal clear. Oh and one last little detail, I love that it came with a spare set of suction cups!
