Review on Park Tool HBH 2 Handle Holder by Dwayne Calhoun

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does what it's supposed to do

Otherwise, a non-mechanical piece of metal is out of the question. It's just a bent piece of metal stick filled with plasticine and tied with a rubber band. You could probably make it yourself, but you'll also spend the same amount of money on parts and gas to get to the hardware store (oh - ride your bike!). The HBH is more required for road bikes and older bikes that don't have front suspension forks and don't have heavy disc brakes. Lighter and less wide fronts rotate more easily when lifting the bike. You MUST use an elastic band to hold the hooks against the handlebars or the HBH will just pop off the bike when the handlebars start to rotate.
