But when it arrived I was very happy with the purchase as there are several different types of needles in the box, each of which will come in handy when traveling. The inner threads of paracord are too thick for regular sewing needles, and a sailing needle works better for repairing tents, tents, footprints, or tarps. This is a decent supply of everything you need for a field repair of one of your kits. I also later bought an emergency fishing kit from Amazon and it had 4 sailing needles, already had more than I needed from that pack so the bonus needles are boxed or attached to the sheath of one of my knives. give me a spare needle or two.
