No volume control so I don't know why he's asking me. It has very little noise when you turn the volume all the way up. It won't be noticeable if you actually play something on it at that high volume. Mine also had a bent ground screw connection straight out of the box but other than that the construction is all metal and looks very solid but I didn't. Don't waste your time trying to find out. But he will definitely strike. Its volume is clear. I think the cord on the power supply is spot on, but some people will find the 2 feet or so a major disadvantage. Also, audio cables are not included. I wasn't expecting this, but in case anyone asks, no audio cables are included.
