Review on Jevtech Replacement Type C to MagSafe Adapter: USB C MagSafe Adapter for MacBook Pro, Chromebook by Keith Harris

Below is my first review. I bought one and found out how well it works. I ordered two more and NONE worked with both adapters. I have sent these two back and ordered another one from another supplier which 'seems' to be working, although not 100% 'normal'. Based on this updated experience, I have changed my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars. I've also noticed that it seems like Revain no longer sells or recommends this adapter, so a lot of people must be having similar issues. All this means don't risk buying this product/adapter. Initial review: When I first plugged it into my new 2020 MacBook Pro (bought 2021) I used a Magsafe 1 Mac power adapter and the adapter got very hot and the laptop even turned on and off every 30-60 seconds though the laptop battery was only 50% charged. I thought the product was a waste of time BUT then I decided to try it with a Magsafe 2 Mac power adapter and it worked great (never gets hot) and worked great for two weeks of continuous use. So I would give 5 stars for Magsafe 2 power supplies but 1 for Magsafe 1 power supplies. Now it's entirely possible that the results will vary on a different Mac laptop.
