Review on DOMIGLOW USB Rechargeable LED Dog Collar - 🐢 Adjustable Light Up Dog Collars for Enhanced Visibility & Safety by Tina Cruz

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works well, good view, mini USB for charging (not micro USB)

This works well enough. It is designed to be worn around the dog's neck, but the plastic light tube takes some effort to pull out of the light body and takes some effort to put back in as well. It may loosen a little, but then it may become too loose. I actually attach it to my dog's harness and the extra length works well for going down and then back up on either side. (The plastic light tube can be cut to the right length to fit your dog's neck or for other uses. A cyclist can even take two and attach one to each ankle and then trim for a perfect fit.) Wide as one normal flashlight, but clearly visible at night or even at dusk. Flashing modes ensure additional attention. The only thing I have is that the collar charges via mini USB. This is the one used to charge phones a decade or two ago. This is now my only mini USB device. Even wireless headphones and Bluetooth speakers that are more than 5 years old have micro USB ports. The collar includes a mini USB cable, which is a good thing as most households will no longer have this cable. I wouldn't expect something like this to have USB-C (which all modern electronics have), but I'm really surprised that it has mini-USB instead of micro. This product would easily get 4 stars from me if it had micro USB, so I could use two cables (one USB-C and one micro USB) to charge everything. A device that requires a different cable is inconvenient.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
