Before ordering, make sure you need it.

I'm giving an average rating because this system doesn't allow me to send an answer without a rating. I know the old one lasted at least ten years. It might still work. Turns out I didn't need a new lightbulb as the lamp wouldn't light due to a lamp switch malfunction. I haven't tried returning the bulb - I'll probably dispose of the old and new as hazardous waste because they contain mercury. It was easier to buy a new lamp than replacing the internal switch in my old floor lamp.
