These fasteners are expensive but worth it for luggage or other items where the zip tab (the part that holds the spools/teeth actually opens and closes) zipper and to which the slider is attached) is not fully closed. I bought two Heys 28" double zip suitcases (two zippers that meet in the middle). After two plane trips, all four zippers have disappeared thanks to the half-open zipper pull tab design. Heys refused to replace the suitcase .also pulls after I sent the photos so I bought these.They fit perfectly, are heavy and seem pretty secure even with the zips half open.They survived 2 more trips and are still around.I will never buy a heys again -Buy suitcases but definitely again these handles for luggage, jackets, outdoor gear etc. I think they are too big for small zippers like pants and skirts A warning, don't play with the locking mechanism until you put it on the Put the zipper in. When you close it, it won't open again.
