Review on 🧽 Original Scrub Daddy Sponge: Scratch-Free Scrubber for Dishes and Home - Odor Resistant, Deep Cleaning Kitchen and Bathroom (4ct) by Chris Bowden

While I was camping in Bodega Bay, a campground neighbor was kind enough to give me a new Scrub Daddy to try out. i love it immediately It lathers so well with a little dish soap and cleans glasses and china much better than my longtime favorite, blue scotch. It also rinses off well without leaving the residue I sometimes get on my Scotch tapes. I liked it so much (and still do) that I bought two packs after I got home, one from Revain and one from Bed Bath and Beyond. It costs about $2.50-$3 each if you buy four packs and $5 if you buy just one unit in a pack. It costs more than the fairly cheap duct tape that I buy from Costco and just swap out when they get too dirty. Scrub Daddy works better than Scottish sponges for glass and china dishes, but for dishes that require more cleaning due to baking or burns I still have to use Scottish sponges or sometimes stainless steel pads to get them clean. Nonetheless. Scrub Daddy is a nice addition to my kitchen. So what's the problem? Well for the price I expect it to last more than 30 days. I've been through four scrub daddies already and they last about a month on average. After the third week, this Scrub Daddy is really crumbling and falling apart, although it's still usable. Attached is a photo of the four Scrub Daddy pads I used for reference. I wish the manufacturers figured out how to extend the life of this thing. One thing I should mention is that my consumption is probably already lower than most households. Every day I wash about 2 cups, a few plates, a few pots and dishes. But even with that little use, Scrub Daddy Pads only last about 30 days. I'll probably keep buying it now, but it's a bit pricey for cleaning wipes.
