Review on Kyocera 3-inch White Ceramic Paring Knife - Innovation Series by Dana Cardenas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Another great ceramic knife from Kyocera

I've been a big fan of Kyocera ceramic kitchen knives since I first bought the set a few years ago. Only one thing has ever gone wrong - I lost the chip trying to use it to twist something I'm cutting (NOT recommended as it turns out) and Kyocera replaced it promptly and without complaint when I took it to the nearest US - Office returned. This new 5 inch kitchen knife is slightly thicker from top to bottom than the same length knife I've had before and unlike the other knives it has a straight blade rather than a serrated blade. In the attached photo, this is a medium knife. This new version is said to be twice as sharp as the previous versions but it would be hard for me to say as they are all very sharp and I have never had to sharpen them. all of them. (Kyocera will do this too, if needed.) It's a really useful length for my cooking, more so than the two tall, wide versions I have. Note. I also have two Soligen stainless steel knives (also shown at each end of the photo) if I need to rotate a bit while cutting. Definitely recommended!
