I've been using electric toothbrushes for over a decade. I have used Oral-B and Sonicare brands. I prefer the head from Sonicare toothbrushes and this is basically the same shape. There are very slight cosmetic differences between the two brushes. You have several modes that you can switch on: gum care, deep cleaning, gentle cleaning, etc. The brush heads are installed in the same way. The Sonicares have a basic charger that allows you to put your toothbrush down while it's charging, but with this one you have to plug it in and it has to be on its side. They are equally effective and perfectly clean your teeth. Although I love Sonicares, I've been through so much because they don't last long. I have to change mine every 1-2 years before anything breaks on it. I hope this one lasts longer, if not there's no point and I'll stick with Sonicare. This one also includes 3 brush heads, which is very generous. They should be replaced every 3 months. Sonicars usually only come with 1 spare. It's been a great toothbrush so far, but I'll have to see if it lasts.
