unstable screen surface

I bought this screen for slideshows and for viewing content from a computer through a projector. I was disappointed to find that there is no bottom attachment point for the screen so there is nothing to prevent it from moving. It's just the wind of someone walking by that moves it. I made the bottom rail out of PVC to keep the screen stationary and without that it's pretty much useless.

The tripod is very short

The quality of the screen and the stand is consistent with the price and it's light. But with the tripod fully extended, the top of the screen is less than 60 inches tall. I'm not sure how even a small group of people could see anything on this screen as the projector would need to be close enough to the screen for the image to fit. Also, you should note that the 50-inch diagonal includes the black frame on the screen.

Bought to make a tiny green screen for Zoom meetings

is the perfect size for a tiny office. seems extremely fragile. Throw a green cloth over it and secure it with clothespins. works very well for everyday use. There is a way to mount the bottom of the screen to a tripod, but it's very simple. The screen has a plastic fork that fits into the grooves on the tripod shaft. not strong at all but works well in my small space. There are no children or pets living in my house, so there is not much of a risk of tipping.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Good mostly, but...

I'm sure I measured before but I was still surprised at how small it was when it got to me. It's a bit on me so I gave it 4 stars anyway because it seems to be of pretty good quality. Also, I agree with the reviewers who say that since the bottom of the screen is only 2.5-3 feet off the ground, you have to put it on top of something to make it big enough. I've been thinking about getting one of those wall mount screens and now I kind of regret it. Oh well, it will be fun to use in the meantime…

Nothing to complain about

I wanted a relatively portable display for presentations with a projector. It's lightweight, portable, and easy to carry to the boardroom or anywhere else. If there are heating or air conditioning vents nearby, you might have trouble with the screen moving through the airflow as it doesn't have screen stabilization devices. It simply hangs from a stand on the screen's handle, the lower part swinging freely. The only other issue isn't really a problem, but buyers should keep in mind that the…

I should have bought something else.

The screen is quite small. I've used it twice and had different problems both times. First, the kickstand doesn't open high enough for those in the third or fourth row behind to see the screen. I tried to support it with a box but it became weak and fell over. The bottom of the screen is not attached to the pole. Therefore, if I propped it up higher, it would easily rotate and tip over. No tote bag. Yes, it's small and folds easily, but these are two pieces that, when folded, tilt forward or…

Easy to set up - projection screens

I bought this screen for my projector because I'm an artist. When I'm working on a painting, I need to see the picture. I could watch it on my computer, but then I would keep turning my head and that's impractical. I intend to use my projector to display any image I want to draw on this new projector screen and it will be much easier for me to see it. When I first started mounting the screen on a tripod I wasn't sure how the screen would hang. I thought there would be something to attach the…

A little disappointed

I think you get what you pay for! I figured I wasn't going to get the cheapest screen for $60, but I also knew I wanted the highest quality. The screen is just so-so. I like the height-adjustable stand, although honestly I wish the stand was permanently attached to the screen. The screen, when fully unfolded, had damage at the top, it was just on a black frame, so I had no need to replace it, but I would like to buy a new product. this looks really new! I see that I have to be careful with the…
