About a year later my original Fitbit charger stopped working as did my mother in law. I bought both of us this type as spares and both work great as chargers for our laptops and use wall outlets. I've found that one of the USB ports on my laptop won't charge with this charger, but the others work fine (the original FitBit charger didn't work with either port or a wall charger). Check out this charger. Does NOT have a small hole to stick a paper clip in to reset your Fitbit when connected to your computer. So if you have the original, even if it doesn't always work, hold on to it if you can. Hope this review helps you!
