Review on Califone 1886 Multimedia Cassette Recorder by Adina Jordan

Excellent device with a fatal design flaw. The power supply is not disconnected from the device. It is sewn into the body. Definitely breaks down over time. I have never seen such a bad setup on a modern device. I plan to install the socket in the block with the plug on the adapter cable if it fails. Not a recommended task for an unskilled person. Revised November 21, 2015: Gradually the cassette buttons were intermittently not working. Now the cassette doesn't work. Luckily, the device is shaped like a soccer ball and can be used to practice a field goal once!
