July 2021: I reviewed these mugs in April and gave them 3 stars because there was an issue with one of the mugs. I was recently contacted by a seller who offered either a full refund or a replacement. I've been using a good mug for about 10 weeks and it fits me so I asked for a replacement for the faulty mug. Three days later I received another set of 2 cups. I am increasing my rating to 5 stars and would not hesitate to order from this seller again. Here is my first review from April 2021: These are beautiful mugs. I wanted an unpainted stainless steel mug to avoid problems with chipped paint and/or scratches. The mugs appear to be constructed in such a way that the top of the rim is fused to the outer wall of the mug, creating a seam around the rim. This seam is not visible on one of my mugs. Unfortunately, on the other hand, I can see a seam in several places and in one place I can see and feel a very small gap in the seam. I suspect that over time the liquid seeps through the gap and collects in the cup wall, destroying the cup. As for the insulation, I bought these mugs hoping my coffee would stay warm longer. I don't like drinking through plastic so when I bought mugs I knew I wouldn't use lids. Unsurprisingly, I lose most of the insulation benefits without a lid, but the mug keeps my coffee warm longer than a ceramic mug. Just don't expect miracles. The handles are too light for the body of the mug, so when it's full, the mug is a bit unbalanced. It's convenient, but not ideal. These mugs were an experiment. Turns out I love insulated stainless steel mugs, but these mugs aren't everything I was hoping for. Since I'll be using these every day, I'll probably end up upgrading to a more expensive mug at some point in hopes of getting a higher quality, more balanced mug.
