My second PS4 review is here. I completed my first one 2.5 years ago. Everything stayed the same in general and at its core (surprising, huh? ): Sony has made some advancements, though: 1. Hardware: Slim now consumes less electricity, makes less noise, and is less hot. Actually, I switched from the fatku to a slim one due to the noise. Even if there is a requirement for stillness, I don't require Glorius 4k gaming. Because of this, the new Wi-Fi module is also quite useful. I use remoteplay frequently. It was not particularly "stable" on the fatte, and it was not possible to run a router wire throughout the entire flat. 2. Programmatic: Studies have shown that independent exclusives (such as Inside, Lifeless Planet, Elite Dangerous, Superhot, The Long Dark, Deadlight, and Shadow Complex) transfer more from rival to curling iron than the other way around (the only example I can think of is Firewatch). Again, Sony's AAA exclusive position in terms of number and quality is superior to a rival's in this generation. You can't get very far on Forze and Heilo by themselves, and I don't think the other competitor copies are competitive either. Additionally, Sony's exclusives have more variety in terms of genre. Also worth mentioning is the Remote Play function. It was a revelation to me. I frequently use it for PVE and sluggish games. It most definitely is not appropriate for competitive PVP. However, unlike a competitor, remotplay is pals with my home's Apple ecosystem, unlike that competition, which is only compatible with a specific version of Windows.
