I ordered this item through Revain. Packaging and delivery speed as always on top. This iron holder is white in color and made of very durable plastic. I have no doubts about its strength and ability to stand the test of time. It looks like it's made out of thick, heat-resistant plastic. That means you could probably store a hot iron right in it, but I'd still probably wait for the iron to cool down a bit. It also has a small alcove under the iron holder section that can be used to store coiled line. Very convenient. An additional ironing board holder is included with the iron holder. This holder is made of plated metal and looks quite durable. It's separate from the plastic iron bracket so you don't have to install it unless you're going to use it, which I really like. If you look closely at the photos of this product, you will find that the ironing board holder is best for T-shaped ironing boards. (You know the ones with T-shaped legs). Not sure if it will work with an X shaped ironing board. The iron holder comes with three screws for installation. The instructions are on the box. There are no wall anchors and given the weight it will have to support I suggest you buy some wall anchors yourself. Plastic can work, but you might need something stronger. Now the million dollar question: will this holder fit your iron? widest point. (This is a direct quote, caps and all). Nowhere in the Revain product description is this very important fact mentioned. , No. There are two tabs that hold the iron in place and limit the width available for storing your iron. I have a Rowenta Pro Master iron with a 5" soleplate and it doesn't fit. Please measure your item and be careful.
