So far works great on my iMac with Thunderbolt 2
I finally have this adapter that works great with the Thunderbolt 2 I have on my iMac, I use High Sierra on my iMac and have the latest Update for my macOS. So far, the program has recognized and imported films from the camera without any problems. That's all I needed. So I am very happy with the product. A lot of people here have complained that this isn't working for them, I assume they were using a Thunderbolt 3 or USB C connection. This adapter will not work with Thunderbolt 3 or USB C because Apple has not approved it. I have a MacBook Pro that is having no luck because it only has USB-C ports.
