I ordered a size XL midnight jacket and champagne a size L to decide which I would keep. Apparently. both! There isn't much of a difference between the two, but champagne is a little denser. (I'm 5ft 9in and about 170lbs). Both appear to be very well tailored, but I was expecting the midnight jacket (navy blue) to have the same "plastic" feel as champagne. Navy blue is more like satin and not as dense as champagne. The sleeves on size L are a bit shorter for me but that's ok as there is a black tight layer around the wrist. In winter, check how warm they are.
