Review on 🍷 Stain Resistant Neoprene Wine/Water Bottle Carry Tote, Black - Holds 2 Bottles by Christy Brewer

Slightly more stylish bag for a few bucks

I bought a Cosmos and Built two bottle neoprene bag to compare. I'm disappointed not to find a big difference. I will describe the small differences I noticed in detail here. I suspect most people reading this will make a choice between style and price. Functionally, they serve equally to carry, protect and store under most normal circumstances. The Cosmos bag was slightly cheaper. It has a square top with a white border and a red interior. The Built bag has a round top, colored piping and a navy blue interior for the black bag I received. The panels on Cosmos are held together with a standard small narrow straight stitch or possibly a blind stitch, while Built uses (which I can only guess with my limited sewing skills) some sort of large zigzag stitch. The general feeling you get is that the built in pocket has a slightly higher quality of stitching, but since it's not a neoprene swimwear design it doesn't matter in terms of durability, none of these pockets likely will bloom before you get your $10 usage of it. The grip hole on the Built is slightly larger, but being almost entirely neoprene they will still stretch. The only real functional difference I found between them was that I put wine bottles inside. Using identical bottles, the Cosmos bag had a more snug fit than the Built. I can lug out a bottle while another bottle weighs down a bag with built in weight. By dragging a bottle into space, I can lift a bag and another bottle. This is good and bad for both pockets. The same results occur when I put the bottle bags in and turn them upside down. Surprisingly, the Cosmos bag almost even holds bottles upside down, albeit with effort I wouldn't make a habit of. The same bottles in the installation just slide out. The built-in pocket makes getting the bottles a little easier, but there's a slightly higher risk of accidental slipping, although under what circumstances you'll allow the pocket to be turned upside down. below in question.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • No insurance
